Help Us Celebrate the International Language Cell Phone Tour at the Rose Art Museum

Rose Art Museum

Please join the students of "Cross Cultural Arts and Aesthetics" (Anth184b) as we "unveil" the international language component of our experimental cell phone tour project, in collaboration with the Rose Art Museum and the Waltham Family School. Over thirty adult students Waltham Family School, all of them recent immigrants, are recording commentaries in a range of languages, sharing their thoughts and reflections on works of art in the current exhibition of modern and contemporary art at the Rose, drawn for the museum's extraordinary permanent collection. The tour segments are primarily in Spanish. Other community audio segments are in Haitian Creole, French, Laotian, Thai and Mandarin Chinese.
